Quartly Sew CLUB

In Club we show new product, new designs, samples of designs, demos
of new products and some older products, sewing or embroidery
techniques and sometimes a demo on quick projects and where to get
the instructions. We also have door prizes and at the end of club we
have show and tell which is my favorite part to spark inspiration and new
creativity.

Sew Mania
Bring in your UFO’s (Un Finished Object) to work on. It’s a fun get
together with sewing friends to finish up projects. DSV instructors are
there to help on certain projects you might be struggling with.

Strip Club
Come join us, one and all. Strip club is perfect for beginners and more
experienced quilters. We will meet once a month February through May.
Each month we will work on 2 different blocks based on the Log Cabin
and Church House Steps blocks. You will have homework before the
next class. At the end of the 4 sessions, you will have enough blocks for
a quilt top. Call for supply list.

Hot Dog Pillowcase Class  
I will show you how to cut out your pillow case, pin it together, and sew it
for a finished product. Pick up the materials list when you register for the

Learn Appliqué  (Mason Jars Mini Quilt)                      
You will be learning how to appliqué by using the proper stabilizer and
tools on your basic zigzag sewing machine. You will also be learning a
few quilting basics. Pick up a materials list when you register for the

Mason Jars  in the Hoop!   (wall-hanging)                      
This is a little mason jar quilt that can be a wall-hanging or a table mat,
which ever you prefer. The first session we will start embroidering
(appliqué in the hoop) as many blocks as we can. Then cut our blocks to
the appropriate size. Pick up your materials list when you register for the
class. You can preview this project at the store.
The second session will be a combined class with the Mason Jars
Appliqué quilt class. We will sew our blocks together and I will explain
how to add the borders, binding, and how to quilt the quilt together.

Quilt Class (Doodle - Dat) Wall-Hanging                          
This will be a small wall hanging quilt where we can use our decorative
stitches and techniques to be creative (No  Embroidery). This little quilt
can be used as a Wall Hanging, Table Mat or a Doll Quilt! For those of
you who took this class last year,  you can come and finish up your quilts
with the 2nd session of this class if you choose to do so N/C, but please
call ahead and make sure the class has the minimum required and that
we know you are attending. This Quilt can be previewed at the store.
